Englewood Beach

Englewood Beach is located at 2100 N. Beach Road in Englewood. There are usually no big crowds, just plenty of white sand, gentle waves and colorful shells. The beach has several amenities to meet anyone’s needs: a 24-hour fishing pier, grills, volleyball/basketball courts, and horseshoes. Furthermore, there are four picnic shelters, three large pavilions, playground, beach wheelchairs, showers, water stations, restrooms, and large parking area. There is an onsite vendor, “The Beach Guy,” who can provide beach necessities, such as chairs or umbrellas.

Stump Pass Beach State Park

Just a bit south of Englewood Beach is Stump Pass Beach State Park, located at 900 Gulf Blvd. in Manasota Key. Amenities include six picnic pavilions with tables and grills, canoe/kayak launch, nature trails, and parking area. Beach wheelchairs, restrooms, and a shower station are also available. Visitors come to this untouched oasis to enjoy the beautiful, natural habitat. This is a place where you can unwind, recharge and reconnect with nature. Additionally, Stump Pass is known for its diverse ecosystem, hiking trails and shelling. Visitors are likely to encounter manatees, dolphins, gopher tortoises and egrets!

Manasota Beach Park

Just north of Englewood Beach, you’ll find Manasota Beach Park, located at 8570 Manasota Key Road in Englewood. Manasota Beach is known for being less crowded with pristine shores trimmed with sugary white sand and turquoise waves. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Conversely, families can enjoy swimming, snorkeling and the perfect picnic! Amenities include a boat ramp, docks, boardwalk, beach volleyball court, four picnic shelters, trails, a canoe/kayak launch, and grills. Additionally, there are beach wheelchairs, restrooms, rinse stations, and spacious parking area.

Gasparilla Island State Park

Gasparilla Island State Park is located at 880 Belcher Road in Boca Grande. Tarpon and other prized fish inhabit the blue waters off Gasparilla Island State Park, making this an angler’s paradise! Swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and shelling are popular activities. Furthermore, amenities include interpretive exhibits from park rangers, the 1890 Boca Grande lighthouse museum, and two pavilion picnic areas. Restrooms, shower stations and a parking area are also available.

Enjoy the breathtaking views while bicycling miles of bike trails that start at the Gasparilla Island Toll Bridge. Continue through the quaint town of Boca Grande and end at the beautiful Gasparilla Island State Park.
