We are expected to have 12 total gates when this phases is completed in 2027.

This one-story expansion does not include passenger boarding bridges (PBBs), or jetways, due to significant investments required to modify our facilities, purchase and maintain associated equipment. PGD’s gently-sloping ramps are commonly employed at many small airports that have one-story terminals or support low-cost carriers. PGD operates on a conservative budget so we can continue to attract/retain airlines that provide low-cost service options.  However, if a new airline requires PBBs for daily service, we stand ready to evaluate its feasibility.

• Wolfgang Puck Kitchen + Bar (including a pick-up area for to-go items)

• The Market (including a bar and grab-and-go options)
• The Junction (including a bar and grab-and-go options) 

All of these new concessions are proposed for the post-security area for departing passengers.

• Spacious and improved restrooms with baby changing stations, luggage hooks, an additional family restroom and an adult changing station.
• New departures concourse with more spacious waiting areas, natural light, WiFi, and charging stations.
• Additional space for overall public circulation.
• New In-Line Baggage Handling System to reduce the time for TSA to screen outbound luggage.
• Expanded and redesigned TSA checkpoints for passenger screening.
• New 18,000 SqFt. Rental Car Center directly next to the Terminal.
• Space for nursing mothers.

• Terminal Expansion budget is approximately $44 million, which includes design and construction.

– FAA BIL Terminal: $20 million

– FDOT: $1.475 million

– PFC: $14 million
