Bailey Terminal Now Open; Allegiant Flight Operations Have Resumed PGD property and the adjacent area are still being used for FPL staging, Air National Guard staging and other essential services.  PASSENGERS Allegiant returned to PGD with several flights inbound and outbound flights on Monday, 10/3/22. Punta Gorda Airport’s management and operations teams are working to secure the airport property and make preparations for potential impacts from Hurricane Ian. Punta Gorda Airport and its runways will remain open as long as conditions are safe.  However, if winds are sustained at ~45 MPH, aircraft operations and tower operations will cease, and we continue to follow recommendations from Charlotte County Emergency Management.
