PGD offers ample long-term parking, with circulating shuttle service to and from the Bailey Terminal aligned with all scheduled arriving and departing flights.
Long-Term Parking
Long-term parking is located behind the short-term lot.
- First 40 Minutes (First Day Only) – Free
- 40 Minutes – 1 Hour – $1.00 + tax
- Each Additional Hour – $2.00 + tax
- Daily Maximum – $12.00 + tax
Short-Term Parking
Short-term parking is located directly in front of the terminal building.
- First 40 Minutes (First Day Only) – Free
- 40 Minutes – 1 Hour – $1.00 + tax
- Each Additional Hour – $2.00 + tax
- Daily Maximum – $24.00 + tax
No overnight parking allowed.

What if I need assistance from the parking lot to the terminal?
If you need assistance traveling from the long-term parking lot to the terminal, call the on-airport free shuttle service at 941-815-1668. Please specify if you need the shuttle van with ADA compliant wheelchair lift.

Does shuttle service run 24/7 to all long-term parking lots?
PGD offers free shuttle service to and from the Bailey Terminal aligned with all scheduled arriving and departing flights.
Shuttles run continuously during scheduled arriving and departing flight times for the Red and Orange lots. For pickup from the Blue lot, call 941-815-1668. Please specify if you need the shuttle van with ADA compliant wheelchair lift.
When does my parking fee begin accruing?
All parking fees begin accruing at the time you enter the parking lot.
How do I use the parking lot?
To enter:
At the gate, simply push the button in the middle of the display and take your ticket. Please keep this ticket as you will need it to exit.
To exit:
Look for the red arrow at the top right of the kiosk, and scan the barcode on your ticket. Then, insert your credit card to make a payment. If you need a receipt, you must press the receipt button at the lower left of the kiosk.
PGD no longer accepts cash payments for parking.
Can I park an RV or oversized vehicle at PGD?
If you have an oversized vehicle, trailer or RV, please call 941-815-1018 to reserve your spot in our RV lot and arrange for pickup and drop-off at the Bailey Terminal. Directions to the grass lot will be provided upon reservation. The daily parking fee is $40, weekly parking fee is $200, and monthly parking fee is $600 for the RV lot.
Is there a vehicle height restriction to enter the parking lots?
Yes, all of our parking lot entrances have a 10′ height restriction.

Can I reserve a space to park?
All parking at the Punta Gorda Airport is first come, first serve. Reserved parking is not offered.
PGD has ample long-term parking. Signage will direct passengers to connected overflow lots if paved parking is full. Shuttles will be circulating for pick-up and drop-off.
What if I encounter a problem?
If you should encounter a problem at either the entrance gate or pay station, press the “Call” button on the front of the machine.
Do you offer any special rates for 100% disabled veterans?
Under FSS 316.1964 (7), parking is free to those who meet any or all of the following requirements:
- 100% disabled U.S. military veterans displaying a license plate for disabled veterans;
- an individual operating a vehicle with specialized equipment (ie ramps, lifts, foot or hands controls) for use by a person who has a disability;
- or displaying the Florida Toll Exemption permit
If you meet any of these requirements, please call 941-815-1018 or press the help button on the exit machine for ticket validation. Your ticket must be validated prior to exiting the parking lot.
Does PGD offer electric vehicle charging stations?
Unfortunately, no. PGD does not offer electric vehicle charging stations at this time. However, we are exploring such opportunities.
Is covered parking available at PGD?
PGD does not currently offer covered parking.
How long is the shuttle ride?
The shuttle ride from the long-term parking lots to the terminal should take no longer than approximately 5 minutes.
