PUNTA GORDA, Fla. Nov. 14, 2018 — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) this week begins new service to Fort Myers / Punta Gorda from three new cities: Appleton, Wisconsin; Omaha, Nebraska and Syracuse, New York. New seasonal routes to Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) include:
1. Omaha, Nebraska via Eppley Airfield (OMA) – beginning Nov. 14, 2018 with fares as low as $68.*
2. Syracuse, New York via Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) – beginning Nov. 15, 2018 with fares as low as $79.*
3. Appleton, Wisconsin via Appleton International Airport (ATW) – beginning Nov. 16, 2018 with fares as low as $104.*
These three new routes are expected to bring in nearly 27,000 new visitors annually to southwest Florida contributing to visitor spending and the local economy.
