New Route to Atlantic City Starts Feb. 13, 2026

The new route between Punta Gorda, Florida via Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) and Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) in New Jersey begins February 13, 2026 with service on Mondays and Fridays.

“This news exemplifies our strong partnership with Allegiant, and shows our commitment to providing more air service options for our community,” said Robert D. Hancik, Charlotte County Airport Authority Chair. “Since Punta Gorda has high visitation and migration from the state of New Jersey, it means thousands more travelers can quickly connect to their second homes, friends and family.”

For travelers seeking a dynamic mix of entertainment, culture, and coastal charm, Atlantic City offers it all. Known for its iconic Boardwalk, vibrant nightlife, world-class casinos, and year-round events, Atlantic City is a top-tier destination for those looking to combine excitement with relaxation.

Whether it’s the thrill of a headlining concert, the chance to dine at celebrity-chef restaurants, or simply a getaway to the cool breezes of the Jersey Shore, Atlantic City delivers a unique experience not found anywhere else. With convenient flights and an ever-growing list of attractions, it’s no surprise more travelers from Florida are making the trip north.
