Airport Ground Transportation
Gulf Coast is the preferred provider of ground transportation at PGD (including car, taxi, van and shuttle service). Gulf Coast has competitive pricing, professional service and a free bottled water for each passenger. Customers in need of an ADA lift-equipped vehicle should make an advanced reservation.
Passenger Pickup Tip: Gulf Coast Car Service – Exit baggage claim doors and walk to the right. The pickup area is across from the Rental Car Center.

Vehicle drop-offs and pickups may take place in the Short-Term Parking Lot or any of the Long-Term Parking Lots.

A point-to-point bus system that serves the public in Charlotte County for a small fee. Reserve transportation during designated hours.

Under FSS 316.1964 (7), parking is free to those who meet any or all of the following requirements:
Please call Gulf Coast Car Service at 941-391-8800 to reserve transportation to and from PGD in an ADA lift-equipped vehicle.
- 100% disabled U.S. military veterans displaying a license plate for disabled veterans;
- an individual operating a vehicle with specialized equipment (e.g., ramps, lifts, foot or hands controls) for use by a person who has a disability
- or displaying the Florida Toll Exemption permit
If you meet any of these requirements, please call 941-815-1018 or press the help button on the exit machine for ticket validation. Your ticket must be validated prior to exiting the parking lot.
For Allegiant passengers arriving at the airport with special needs, please check in at the ticket counter or ask an Allegiant representative for assistance. Refer to these FAQs for detailed answers.
