Project Description
This project consists of the design, permitting and construction of a new General Aviation Center (GAC) in the Aviation Expansion Area (PGD AviEx), which is east of the 600 series T-Hangars off Challenger Boulevard on the north side of airport property. The project includes; GA facility building to house FBO operations, restaurant & bar, hangars, parking, access road, aircraft ramp, taxiway and taxilane improvements.
- Construction of the airside ramp and taxilane extension has been awarded and will begin in Fall 2020.
- The Request for Bids for construction of the GA Facility, access roads, parking and civil site work for hangars is due on Sept. 30, 2020.

Restaurant Services
We are seeking potential Restauranteurs interested in funding, designing, developing, constructing, operating and maintaining a restaurant, bar and catering service at PGD for a term of ten years with two five year options. Approximately 2,500 square feet of space will be available for an operator of Restaurant Services at the GAC. We plan to advertise the Request for Proposals in early 2021.
