Arrive Early – You’ll Be Thankful You Did!

2018-11-20T12:36:12+00:00

This is just a friendly reminder that the busy holiday season kicks off Thanksgiving week - with seven flights leaving PGD between 6 and 8 a.m. It takes some time for all our passengers to check-in and get through security, so we really appreciate those early birds that help things flow more smoothly! Allegiant and the Transportation Security Administration recommend you arrive at least 2 hours early -- and so does PGD -- especially when it comes to the early morning flights. Happy Travels and Happy Thanksgiving! Return to PGD BUZZ

Why Lightning May Cause Delays

2018-09-05T11:24:08+00:00

We appreciate your patience with inconveniences caused by Florida’s stormy summer weather. Allegiant’s Safety standards require that lightning within a five-mile radius subsides for 15 minutes before passengers, staff or crew begin the boarding or deplaning process. All personnel must vacate the ramp, cease airside ground activities and outdoor baggage handling while lightning is within a five-mile radius. Unfortunately, lightning in the area may lead to delays in flight arrivals, flight departures and delivery of baggage as well. Read answers to more Frequently Asked Questions. Return to PGD BUZZ

Allegiant Travel Tip Struggle to find your suitcase on the baggage carousel? We get it. Here's how to make your LBS (little black suitcase) standout: 1. ADD A LUGGAGE TAG – show off your personality and ensure all your personal information is easily displayed. 2. PERSONALIZE WITH STICKERS – Like an oversized passport, decorate your luggage with stickers from all the places you visit. 3. USE A COLORFUL LUGGAGE BELT – A pop of color on your bag will ensure your suitcase is easy to spot and keep your bag from bursting at the seams.       [...]
