PGD Awarded $471K for Design of Runway 4-22

PGD will receive a $471,305 grant from the FAA for the design portion of Runway 4/22’s rehabilitation. This project will rehabilitate 7,193 feet of pavement to maintain Runway 4/22’s structural integrity, as well as lighting and signage to enhance safe airfield operations during low visibility conditions. PGD’s Commitment to Safety is Nonstop Punta Gorda, FL (July 9, 2020) – The Charlotte County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) announced the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) passenger count for June 2020 totaled 93,767, with 47,846 departing passengers and 45,921 arriving passengers. PGD’s FBO recently earned its “Safety 1st Clean” certification through the National Air Transportation Association (NATA).
