Airport Therapy Dogs
PGD’s K-9 Comfort Crew
PGD partners with the Therapy K9’s of Southwest Florida to bring you weekly visits from this special team. A therapy dog is trained to provide affection and comfort to people in a variety of locations and situations from hospitals, nursing homes, schools, hospices, disaster areas, children advocacy centers, and in airports like PGD.
When you see these friendly pups with their escorts in purple polo shirts, don’t hesitate to come say hello. Keep in mind that the dogs will be in the secure departures area with passengers that have cleared security for most of their visit.

Daley
Daley is a sweet Greyhound who loves his stuffed hedgehog. His favorite activities are running and curling up for a cozy cuddle!
Domino
Domino is a friendly Golden Retriever who enjoys walks, eating treats, and meeting new people. His favorite toy is his stuffed shark!
Dotty
Dotty is a graceful Greyhound with a love for squeaky stuffies! Her favorite pastimes include sunbathing, practicing scent work, and excelling in Rally.
Ducky
Ducky is a lovable English Bulldog who adores napping and belly rubs. His favorite toy is Hedgie the Hedgehog, and he’s a natural at scentwork! He also has a special talent for helping kids feel comfortable around dogs.
Gibbs
Gibbs is an spirited English Bulldog who loves scent work, rally competitions, and the zoomies! His favorite toy is his Goosey.
Lakeshore
Lakeshore is a lovable Golden/Lab Cross who thrives on the simple joys of life—watching TV, soaking up belly rubs, enjoying cozy naps, and making new friends wherever she goes!
Maddi
Maddi is a curious Chihuahua who loves people-watching from her favorite perch on the back of the couch. She’s always ready for fun with any toy that squeaks!
Sam
Sam is a friendly Labrador Retriever who adores his duck toys. He loves listening to kids read to him and greeting travelers flying out of PGD, bringing smiles to everyone he meets!
Wagz
Wagz is a lively English Cream Golden Retriever who can’t resist Grilled Nudges as a treat. His favorite pastime is chasing his soccer ball, and he brings endless energy and joy to everyone he meets!
Whysper
Whysper is a sweet English Cream Golden Retriever. She loves people, bananas, swimming & hiking! She is famous for her incredible “doggo hugs”!
Willy
Willy is a loveable Greyhound who loves doing the zoomies, going to the beach, and hanging with his friends and mama!
